Glorious days wild camping, as they would call it now, with three young children in Snowdonia, below Tryfan, beside the Bochlwyd stream, which served for drinking and all washing. You can just see the washing line drying our things after our tents got damaged in a storm in the night and we had to move them from a higher bluff to this more sheltered place on the other side of the stream. Later we got a car and took the kids gîting in various mountain areas in France.
