Beyond the altar rails is an altar table made in 1980 by Thompsons of Kilburn in Yorkshire. Carved at the bottom of one of the panels is a mouse, the maker's trademark, which adorns many styles and types of furniture located throughout the country. The raven symbol above the mouse recalls the church's Benedictine origins.
