I was a not a competent map-reader and never felt safe walking alone in the country with an expensive camera around my neck, so I asked my friend Gill to come with me to see the lady and monkey orchids at Hartslock Nature Reserve. You can see the monkeys in this one. This led a little later to me being invited to join a group of friends who did monthly walks in the Chilterns; and gave me great joy for many years.
