July is often our hottest month and summer is at its height. G K Chesterton commented 'Let a man walk ten miles steadily on a hot summer's day along a dusty English road, and he will soon discover why beer was invented'. The shades of green here are wonderful, with the ducks scoring the surface of the water. I got up at 6am and had taken this shot before 6.30.
