The Westmacott memorial, a beautiful roundel in the South Chapel. It is called 'The Midday Rest' and was carved by Sir Richard Westmacott, a pupil of Canova, and commemorates John William Egerton, who was a cousin of the 'Canal Duke' and who rebuilt Ashridge House
