Old Luxters Vineyard planted its first vines on the slopes of the Chiltern Hills in 1982 and harvested them two years later. In 2017 it supplements the annual crop with other grape varieties purchased from vineyards in southern England to produce a wide range of award-winning wines.

As an enthusiastic drinker of wine I find visits to vineyards irresistible. This was captured on a PhotoGroup outing on a lovely day and I remember standing alongside Barry Hunt as he framed his photograph. Old Luxters Vineyard is near Hambleden.
