2017. At the eastern end of the transept, against the north wall, is an impressive monument to Sir Cope D'Oyley (1571-1633) and his wife Martha. She died in 1613 shortly after the birth of their fifth girl, and tenth child, after 22 years of marriage. Each of the family is depicted as a kneeling alabaster figure; those children holding skulls died before their parents.
