I don't think of this as a static project. As time moves on I'm sure to be discovering more favourite places in the Chilterns (I'd be rather disappointed if I don't!). I have often walked the path from Stonor to Southend and taken in the lovely view looking down to Stonor House on the way. Earlier this year, my wife and I did more than that. We ventured down to explore the house and gardens, which we found to be an enjoyable experience. I soon established a favourite corner of the gardens here, by the summer house, with the flowers in full bloom. July 2016
