At the top of a rise we arrive at the ruins of Minsden Chapel, barely visible amongst the scrub trees and bushes. Signs warn of the danger of falling masonry, so please take care. Built in the 14th century, the chapel served the now lost hamlet of Minlesden. The last recorded service was a wedding in 1738. Some believe the ruins to be haunted. GR 198246
