Coombe Hill is a great place to blow away the cobwebs. Commemorating the 148 Buckinghamshire men who fell in the second Boer War, the monument has recently been restored. I remember finding a newspaper article and photograph from 1938 which my parents had kept, when the monument was virtually destroyed by lightning. It was rebuilt the same year.
