Holy Trinity Church at Bledlow dates from the 12th century and is built of flint and limestone. It is on the Icknield Way just above springs feeding the Lyde brook. The east side of the tower shows a former pitched roof. Records note that the lead-covered roof was starting to push out the walls so it was lowered in the mid 1870s under the supervision of Sir George Gilbert Scott, architect. The whole building was restored in 1909.
