Made from enamelled glass, dated 1609, this window of armorial bearings has the inscription in Latin: ‘Praise be to God. Pray for the souls of Philip and Thomas Hoby Knights and for the souls of Elizabeth the mother and Margaret the wife of Edward Hoby Knight. 1609.’

The Hoby coat of arms, three weaver’s spindles coloured red on a field of silver, can be seen in all the heraldic devices.
