St Lawrence's chancel ceiling has a painting of The Last Supper by Giovanni Borgnis from Milan. Along with other items in the church it was restored by Glynn Jones, a prolific British painter and muralist (1906-1984). He also undertook some commissions at West Wycombe House for the Dashwoods. (On a personal note, Jones was the first cousin of the mother of the photographer who took this picture in 2014 and who grew up near West Wycombe.)
