The NETA (Neighbourhood Enabled Teenage Area!) on the village green is a small meeting area for older children and teenagers. Some years ago, outbreaks of vandalism were frequently blamed on the youngsters 'having nowhere to go' - to meet and chat with their peers. The prospect of having a youth club open seven days a week was out of the question, so, in 2005, the parish council installed the NETA as a halfway house to meet the needs of the younger citizens in the village.
