There is something compelling about seeing detailed paintings of large groups of people who appear to be watching us while we observe them. A good historical example is the impressively large painting entitled 'General Officers of World War 1, 1920-1922' by John Singer Sargent, displayed at the National Portrait Gallery.

Damon Guy - Sunday 31 December 2023 17:02It is so often the case that photogs go to art exhibitions and simply take record shots of the exhibits. But there is so much more to see. For a confirmed people watcher, the photos of the art and the admirers is fun to take and view. This is an example. We don't see all the picture. But the viewers really make the story interesting.
