I think it was Tim Kendell, one of that walking group, who had earlier moved from Ealing to Flackwell Heath and become one of the Chiltern Society’s path guardians and walks leaders, who invited some of us in that other group to go on a Chiltern walk that he led from Flackwell on 25th November 2009. This is a very ordinary photo but typical of other Chiltern Society walks that followed.
