The congregation were just leaving the Jalalabad Jame Masjid in Leagrave Road when I visited, and I stopped to chat to several people. The mosque was established in 1996 and can accommodate 1,000 Muslims. As well as the five daily prayers, the mosque also provides other educational and recreational services such as Arabic classes for children.
