Shardeloes Lake is fed by the River Misbourne. The HS2 twin bore Chiltern Tunnel passes alongside the lake before crossing under the Misbourne. There are concerns that tunnelling could mean the permanent loss of the river and, eventually the lake. The South Bucks Way passes the lake here.
