St John the Baptist, Kidmore End, was built for worship in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, as reflected in this richly decorated panel of three arches. The church’s ‘Lamb and Flag’ magazine says the tradition has varied over the years and today is settled as ‘village Catholic’.
