In the 17thC a large cruck-framed barn was built for the cattle on the north side of the village. It was last used for cows in 1940. Thereafter, pigs were kept there until it was converted to two dwellings in 1978. It is listed Grade II of architectural interest because it is a traditional Buckinghamshire barn built with ash frame. In the foreground is the Upper Green, the small village green which is maintained by the village.
