The Kings Arms is grade II listed: partly Brewers Tudor with reuse of old timbers but it retains a good deal of original interior 16th & 17thC work. The exterior was used as the "Jolly Boatman" in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. Although the building can be traced back to the 1400s, it was extensively renovated in the 1930s. The hotel has been extended to incorporate some cottages. In the lounge is an unglazed medieval window and a massive Tudor staircase leads to the open timbered Elizabethan hall.
