Dunsden church is closer to the hamlet of Littlestead Green than it is to the village it is named after. It still needs a further stroll to reach Dunsden Green and once arriving there it is soon evident that the main feature is the neat village green, with a war memorial, a well and, at the time of writing, an old fashioned red telephone box. On the way to the village is a former farmhouse, now the premises of the Loddon brewery. I have called there in the past and returned home carrying 12 bottles of beer in a rucksack, but on the day this was taken it was closed for the Christmas period. December 2011
