St Mary-le-Moor church, off the Marlow Road, was erected in 1851. Designed by Rhode Hawkins, it is a Grade II listed building built from local bricks faced with flints and Bath stone dressings. The church replaced an ancient chapel in nearby Ackhampstead with the same dedication. It was demolished in 1849.
