A Georgian monument to Deborah Susanna, Viscountess Ashbrook, near the family vault. She died on 24 March 1810, aged 31. Her five children are represented by the carved figures of a boy and girl mourning their mother. The draped urn, which figuratively held the ashes of the dead, was a Greek symbol of mourning popular at the time. The inverted torch held by the young girl reinforces the children's grief.
