The large window above the main west door was restored in 1963 and set in Portland stone.
The existing wooden bell turret was installed in 1601 by Richard, 1st Baron Lovelace of Hurley. Today the bell tower has a chime of six bells using electronically controlled hammers. (The tower does not have the strength or size to support a fully swung peal of bells.) Comprising four new bells and two existing bells, they were installed in March 2014 to complete a project begun in 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The original tenor bell made in 1602 is still used as the clock bell.
