The pipe organ was built by Rushworth and Dreaper of Liverpool and installed in 2000 as part of the Millennium Appeal. At the time the installers found that the 17 highly decorated pipes from the church's original pipe organ, installed in 1880, were 'voiced'. Instead of adorning the north side of the chancel wall - following the dismantling of the original organ in 1955 - they were more usefully incorporated in the new organ.
