It is difficult for me to say whether spring or autumn in the Chilterns is my favourite time of the year. Perhaps spring just wins because there is so much to look forward to. We regularly walk in the Chilterns with two other couples. Each takes a turn at organising the walk which means that we get to see local areas that we had never thought to visit. I love the colourful blossom in this picture, taken on a walk across the fields near Lane End. It was an absolutely new walk for us in truly stunning countryside.
