The Chiltern Hills are a unique part of the English heritage with ancient landscapes, picturesque villages and historic towns. Chiltern Society volunteers work to conserve the Chilterns’ amenities and to encourage good land use and building design.

We aim to maintain a pictorial record of the Chilterns as it was and is now, recording the special character, qualities and amenities of the area.

Taking photos for the Chiltern Society
We are delighted to add pictures to the Chiltern Society’s PhotoGroup Library and publish them on this website. Such photographs are usually taken on our outings or when members volunteer to photograph specific projects. In exceptional circumstances we add single photos that fill gaps in our existing sets of pictures.
