Description	In 2005 the old Pheasant pub is now the Cape Fish Inc. seafood restaurant. The redundant horse-trough seen in the 1920 photograph has disappeared and the once quiet roadway is now the widened and busy A413, necessitating a double mini roundabout at the cross road and all the additional signs and markings to control the traffic.

Description	Long before 2005 the pond of earlier years was contained by building up the surrounding area and installing a sluice to control any overflow from the nearby river Misbourne. The area is now landscaped and provides a pleasant place to rest and watch the world go by.

Description	In 2005 there is a pedestrian crossing on this busy road and a block of buildings opposite the village pond at the far end of the street

Description	The non-working pump has survived through to 2005 and stands somewhat forlornly in the footpath, without its protective wooden casing. The previous rough track serving the buildings is now fully surfaced; it loops around the green and is sought out for its free parking.
