This circular walk of about 8 km (5 miles) takes about three hours at a leisurely pace, excluding pub stops. It starts at
the public car park at Great Missenden which is pay and display. On Mondays – Saturdays it is £2.50 for 4 hours
plus, but it is free on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Parking in the road outside the car park is also free on Sundays and Bank
Holidays but on other days it is limited to a stay of one hour only. Map reference O.S. SP 894 014.
This walk guide runs anti-clockwise around the route taking the gentler climb out of the valley past the church and leaving
the steeper path for the descent later.
