Cross two stiles, one after the other, then cross the tarmac road and a further stile following a sign marked 'Chiltern Heritage Walk'. Head across the field on the footpath, clearly marked. Cross the stile on the opposite side of the field and into the woods, see photo. At the end of the woods, over another stile, and with a pylon dead ahead bear diagonally right, keeping the barbed wire fence on your left (GM13). Author: John Harrison (ws100),
