Description During and following World War II the house was used for institutional purposes, being sold to Plessey Electronics in 1963. In 1988 the building was bought by SGI-UK (Soka Gakkai International). SGI is an international lay Buddhist society that has restored the house and grounds. The library at Taplow Court is now used for study.

Now a prosperous commuter village near Maidenhead, Taplow has a fascinating history with evidence of settlement going back 10,000 years. Star attractions are Brunel's railway bridge and Taplow Court. The photographs were taken in April-May 2008.
