The Reading Room. This sixteenth century building was originally one of the rectory's cottages built on the edge of the grounds. After use as an infants' schoolroom, at the end of the nineteenth century it became a meeting room, a library and a young men's club. In front of the building on the left is a memorial to the dead of both world wars.
